Mobile Veterinary Referrals
I provide peripatetic veterinary medical services, including ultrasound and endoscopy, to small animal practices in the Yorkshire area. I can investigate any medical case at your own practice - coughing dogs, hypoproteinemia, PUO cases, cardiac cases, haematology anomalies etc. If you are unsure whether I can help, email or phone me for a "no commitment" chat. Expertise and experience
With many years of referral and 1st opinion practice behind me, and the RCVS CertSAM, I can provide practical, sensible advice where needed, as well as the ability to carry out a wide range of diagnostic procedures. Whether you want "just a scan" or a top to bottom work up of the case, I can accomodate your needs.
State-of-the-Art Equipment
Core equipment includes high end diagnostic ultrasound with advanced cardiac capabilities, 3 flexible video-endoscopes to suit all cat and dog sizes, and a rigid scope for rhinoscopy. Other equipment includes bone marrow biopsy needles, sinus trephination capabilities, and various oesophageal forceps for foreign body extraction.

As a mobile service, we bring our expertise and equipment directly to your practice, minimizing travel and stress for your patients, and in most cases, eliminating the need for "outside referral."
Getting the most out of every visit
Mobile Vet Referrals has been established by me, Laurence Doddy MVB CertSAM MRCVS. With decades of experience in referral and 1st opinion small animal practice, I fully understand the challenges of getting the correct diagnosis for a beloved animal, where outside referral may not always be an option. Sometimes the choice of procedure needed will be straightforward, but feel free to contact me if this is not the case, and we can pre-plan my visit to make sure the patient gets the most value from the day.
